Always Thinking of You | I love STAMPIN' BLENDS!!!!!

Hi there and thanks so much for stopping by today!

I have a BEAUTIFUL project I want to share with you today. And, its using a stamp set called Beautiful Day from the Annual Catalogue! Here is the project;

I started with a Pineapple Punch card base. Using Memento ink, I stamped the butterfly image onto a piece of Whisper White and cut down to have a 5mm border around all edges. I then used Stampin' Blends to colour the Butterfly, both light and dark. I used the following colours - Aren't they fun and vibrant colours?? You can click on the colours and see everything that you can get in that colour. I love Stampin' Up!® for its incredible colour co-ordination.

I also wrapped the coloured card with some 1/8" Black Cord trim and stuck down to the card base using dimensionals. For the sentiment, I used the beautiful 'Always Thinking of You' sentiment from the same stamp set on a strip of Whisper White the same width as the coloured piece and stuck down using dimensionals.

Have you gotten into Stampin' Blends yet? They are so nice to use - they blend so well!!!

You can buy them individually or as a set of light and dark. I also offer a club to get the whole set. Ive added shopping links for all of the products Ive used in todays project.

While we were away on the Alaska Incentive Trip, we got an advance copy of the upcoming new Holiday Catalogue. If you are a customer of mine, don't worry, you will be receiving a copy of the catalogue directly from Stampin' Up! Many of you know that I love the hashtag #loveitchopit. This is to remind us that our beautiful paper needs some love, how does it like to be loved?? By CHOPPING it! It is so sad when it sits on your shelf with a pile of other stunning Designer Series Paper that wants to show the world its beauty. That is how your paper is feeling as you hoard it - it wants to be free to give love to others. It is time to set it free!

If you are scared, or unsure on how to chop your paper then make sure you join my #loveitchopit Workshop HERE. Then when you have made so many cards you don't know what to do with them all join my Random Acts of Kindness Group HERE to spread the love to many around the world.

Here is the project I ended up with;

The STAR of this card is the BEAUTIFUL country lane designer series printed paper! Here is a close-up of the paper;

Aren't they all ABSOLUTELY beautiful? I love the colour palette and I have a feeling that there will be quite a few cards using this beautiful palette!

I started with a Crushed Curry card base. I selected the BEAUTIFUL sheet of Country Lane DSP and cut it down to have a 5mm border all around. I wrapped some burlap around the paper and stuck down to the card base using dimensionals.

For the sentiment, I used the gorgeous Friendly Expressions stamp set. This is available now and is so suitable for many occasions! I stamped this on Whisper White and cut our using the smallest Stitched Seasons Framelits. Remember that this is a LIMITED TIME ONLY product, so if you dont already have these framelits, make sure you get them NOW before they are gone forever!

I cut out some sprigs using the brand new punch in both Vellum and Early Espresso and stuck this to the underside of the sentiment.  I then mounted this to the card base using dimensionals! And thats it!

What do you think? Im sure you cant wait to get your hands on this BEAUTIFUL designer series paper! The paper and the punch I have highlighted today are only available to order as a part of the demonstrator pre-order. If you want to take advantage of this and order them now (and get discounted products), Join Stampin' Up!® Today!

NEW VIDEO: I hated Starbucks.... but now I LOVE it

Intrigued??? Want to know why I hated Starbucks and now love it?? It is because of their AMAZING Coffee cards that has inspired me with endless colour inspiration. That is right - it is not because of the coffee.... lol!

While Bruno and I were in Seattle we were taken by some good friends of ours to Starbucks Reserve. We were hesitant - Starbucks just isn't our thing and to be honest I just didn't get what the whole thing was about. Before we left for our trip - there was one opening right around the corner from us and we were like WHY?? I know get it - I really do! That trip was more than food and coffee it was so inspiring!! Creatively my brain was buzzing out in that incredible place.

It was a stunning building! Then to top it off there were these cool coffee cards on all the different blends that were AMAZING. I wanted to photograph them all for card colour inspo but I thought - I'll just ask, maybe I can buy them. Nope - she GAVE them to me. Yay!!! So during my live yesterday I used one of my new Starbucks colour inspiration cards (yes that is their new name) and made a card live. Want to see it?

As you will see in my Facebook live we all decided that we wanted to see the Hawaii Coffee Card colour inspiration on my card. I LOVE it!

Watch me make it live on my video -

I would never have thought of putting these colours together - so excited about the other colour possibilities.

I have so many other colours that I want to try! Check out these stunning Starbucks colour inspo cards - amazing right??

Thank you so much for coming by today - I would love to hear what you think and I really do think I get the whole Starbucks fascination now, I am happy to have been educated.

Crazy Crafters Blog Hop with Special Guest Allison Solven

Thank you for joining us for another fantastic Crazy Crafters Blog hop. Boy do we have a treat for you today. We are hopping with the wonderful Alison Solven who I got to spend some time with on our last Stampin' Up!® holiday to Alaska. Alison is a super talented Stamper from Canada.

We will all be casing a card of Alison's today and this is the card of Alisons that I chose to case.

I decided to highlight the Blended Seasons Bundle as it will be gone before we know it. I really like how quickly this project was to make. The elements from Alisons card that inspired mine was the layout - and adding the layers with the patterned design in the background.

I love the colour palette on this project. Here are the colours I used;
I used the leaves stamp in each of the four colours randomly across the Thick Whisper White card stock. I cut this out to allow a 3mm border around the edge and mounted using dimensionals on a Thick Whisper White card base.

I stamped the sentiment using So Saffron and added some Mango Melody on one side and Crushed Curry on the other side. I cut out the sentiment using the smallest framelit in the Stitched Seasons Framelit kit. This set of framelits is so versatile. I mounted this on the card using dimensionals.

I also cut out leaves in each of the colours as well and stuck them down. Im so happy with how this card turned out.

Remember, this bundle is limited time only, so if you haven't already bought it, get it now.

Thanks for joining the Crazy Crafters team today! We love having you hop along with us and hopefully find LOTS of inspiration from this incredibly talented team. Here is the list of those taking part today below - make sure you click on each one so you don't miss out on some awesome creativity. Big thank you to Alison for hopping along with us today - we have loved going through your blog and have been inspired by your work.
