The release of the year!!

The Autumn/winter mini is here and boy is it a good mini!!! It almost seems like you shouldn't call it that because it is jam packed with incredible new products, like the big shot that we have all been anticipating, stamp sets, even new COLOURS! Plus loads more.

The Bigshot is a multipurpose die cutter, with the Sizzix Bigshot and dies from Stampin' Up!, you can create die-cut shapes, envelopes and tags with ease. This manual die-cutting machine works with card stock,
Designer Series paper, fabric, chipboard, plastic, window sheets, and more. Use the machine with our exclusive Stampin’ Up! dies or Sizzix dies—plus it’s compatible with other dies in the market.

There is also a new addition of the Clear Mounting Stamps that are fantastic to clean and store.  Have a look at the clip below to get the full picture on how much of an asset these will be for your stamps.

If you would like to hold a workshop to find out how to use this amazing machine please contact me and we can arrange a time that will suit you.

As a demonstrator we get the privilege of viewing and ordering from the mini catalogues earlier. Here is my first card I made using the Autumn mini catalogue.

Cardstock - Soft Suede, Very Vanilla.

Ink - Rich Razzleberry, Soft Suede, Creamy Caramel.

Stamp sets- Medallion, Vintage Vogue (both from the autumn mini).

Punches - Big Shot - Top Note Die Cut, Word Window

Ribbon - So Saffron

Now for the next card installment - The Fox and friends set I thought was so CUTE from the mini! Here is the set of cards I made from that set.

Recipe -

Stamp Sets - Fox and Friends (from the Autumn/Winter mini) Trendy Trees (for the sentiments)

Cardstock - So Saffron, Bashful Blue, Red Ridinghood, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White

Ink - So Saffron, Bashful Blue, Red Ridinghood, Pumpkin Pie

Designer Series Paper (DSP) - Washington Apple

Ribbon - 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon - Bashful Blue, Pumpkin Pie

Punches - 1 3/8" Circle, Scallop Circle, Word Window

Now some more for the medallion -

This effect is called the Kissing Technique - In case you didn't notice it is the medallion stamp with the a stamp from Baroque Motifs inside. It is an interesting effect don't you think?

Recipe -

Stamp sets - Medallion (from the Autumn/Winter Mini) Baroque Motifs, Whimsical Words

Cardstock - Baja Breeze, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White

Ink - Baja Breeze, Chocolate Chip

Ribbon - 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon - Chocolate Chip

Now for the next Medallion Card, can you see a theme happening here?? I think we are going to work out what my favorite stamp is at the moment.

I really enjoyed getting my background stamp out for this card as it has been a while, also I am using Sage Shadow, I have always like that colour but having got to use it as much as I would like. I am so excited as I have some Grey taffeta ribbon coming soon from Sue madex as a gift so I had to improvise as the ribbon would have gone perfectly with this card.  Very simply I just put a strip of grey cardstock down and it did the job, maybe not as well as the taffeta ribbon, but I was happy.

Recipe -

Stamp sets - Medallion, En Francais, Whimsical Words

Cardstock - Basic Grey, Sage Shadow, Whisper White

Ink - Sahara Sand, Basic Grey, Sage Shadow

Punches - Scallop Oval, Large Oval

I hope that you enjoyed all of those! Let me know what you think as I LOVE comments.  Also don't forget to contact me to get your own copy of the Autum/Winter Mini or click on the catalogue on the side bar to see it online.
