Soft Subtle Challenge!!

So if you read my previous Post below then you would realise that I am setting a challenge for myself and thought I would include others.  To make a Soft Subtle card.

The rules are you can only have Soft Subtle or Neutrals ink and cardstock with any colour embelishments.

Here is my creation -

I am so glad that I set this challenge, I had to OPEN the packet of Soft Subtle Card stock, it was also the FIRST time that I had used my Stampin Spots and I had never used the stamp set Scribble this before. How bad is that!  But I loved making this card and I really like the colours.  What do you think??
Now I want to see yours!!  The winner recieves a brand new pack of Blender Pens which I used for my card above.

Supplies -
Stamp - Scribble This, and Best Yet (Hostess Level 1 Click here to find out more)
Cardstock - Perfect Plum, Pale Plum, Whisper White
Ink - Perfect Plum, Pale Plum, Basic Black
Ribbon - 1/4" Black Grosgrain
Tecnique - Blender Pens

I will choose the winner with Bruno's help (look out he notices all crooked cards and the smallest detail!) on Wednesday the 27th January 2010, so it gives you a good week and a bit to get happening.  Below is the Mr Linky ensure that you put JUST your post URL so that it goes straight to that one card and your name. I'm being a bit Trendy

It was so nice to be able to pull out this stamp set and dust it off!  I fell in love with this set as soon as I saw it and haven't really got to have a good play with it.  Story of my life.

Supplies -
Stamp - Trendy Trees
Ink - Old Olive, Chocolate Chip
Card Stock - Old Olive, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White
DSP - Good Morning Sunshine
Ribbon - Chocolate Chip 1/4" Grosgrain
Rub Ons - Loop to Loop (Level 3 Hostess gift) Click Here to see how you can get this free!

I really love the colours in this card as I am so an Earth Elements girl!  What are your favorite colour families??  Is there anyone out there that is Soft Subtles??  I find those colours so hard to use!! I have all of the markers and cardstock and have you seen a card made out of them??  I think that I am setting myself a challenge!!  And I think it should be a challenge for you girls too!!

I have a set of blender pens for the best card made from the Soft Subtles colours so get thinking - my next post I will have my own Soft Subtle card and a Mr Linky for you to attach your creations too. I'm going to give you a week and a bit!!  So will let you know the winner on Wednesday 27th Jan 2010.

Happy Soft Subtle card making!

Brayering with Inspired by Nature

Well this time I had a go of my own brayering card - i'm sure there are a few around similar though, it just works so well with this stamp set!

It didn't turn out perfectly, but I'll just make out that its part of the "look" you know the rustic look?? When it doesn't quite stamp on properly.  I love that word, I use it alot!

For some reason I didn't put a sentiment on this one, I didn't want to detract from the stunning bow that the bow easy makes!

Supplies -
Stamp - Inspired by Nature
Ink - Old Olive, Really Rust, Creamy Caramel
Cardstock - Chocolate Chip, Glossy White
Punch - Corner Punch

There is a Stampin up Corner punch that was forgotten in this years catalogue - it is code 109047 and sells for $12.95.  Just an FYI!

Thanks for stopping by

The next Animal Punch Art Installment

I don't sell these kits anymore due to time restraints and the Stampin' Up! business taking off - but thank you to all those who have purchased kits in the past! If you are coming to the Melbourne Show I will be in the craft pavillion doing craft classes with these kits around September 2013

So here are some more!!! In case we don't have enough already.  I am having so much fun creating these little animals you can't half tell??  How many have I done lately.  I'm on a roll.  I found some Magnetic tape yesterday and thought it would be a nice idea to use on the back of them - turn them into fridge magnets with a clip.  Also you could just use the animal on a card - I will get around to making one and showing you soon.

Thanks for looking
