2013 Stampin' Up! Grand Holiday - MDS Photobook Layout 4

Here are pages 6 and 7. They are designed as a double page spread, so here they are;

This was our trip down to Venice Beach. We walked there from Santa Monica (see previous post).

Page 6 - Left Page

Background Paper - from the 'Everybody's Business' Designer Series Paper set.
Embellishments - from the 'Get it Done' range, I used the Graph Paper. Also, from the 'Downtown Grunge' range, I used the tape. The opacity is set to 65%. I downloaded a font called 'Mossy'.
Photos - this was a panorama shot. So, I enlarged it so that it covers both pages.
Font - I downloaded the font called 'Made With B' - I didn't want the text to dominate the page. The colour of the font was sampled using the colour 'picker' tool and the colour is taken from the colour of the sky. Have you used the picker tool?

Page 7 - Right Page

Background Paper - from the 'Everybody's Business' Designer Series Paper set.
Background Embellishment - from the 'Rise and Shine' set, I used the 'Diagonal Stripes' Embellishment. When inserted, it is green. To change the colour, select the embellishment and on the right tool palette, and click on 'Recolour.' Again, I sampled the colour from the sky using the colour 'picker' tool. I set the opacity to 70%.
Embellishments (Photo Frame) - from the 'Downtown Grunge' range, I used 'Frame 1.' Also, from the 'Downtown Grunge' range, I used the tape.
Photos - this was a panorama shot. So, I enlarged it so that it covers both pages.
