Stampin' Up! Grand Vacation Hawaii Blog Hop

Welcome to our Grand Vacation Hawaii Achievers Blog Hop. You may have just hopped here from the absolutely gorgeous Louise Sharp. She is so super talented that I am in awe of her incredible designs, I am sure you LOVED her blog hop card. This blog hop was all her amazing idea and I am thrilled to be part of it. Amazing work Louise - thank you so much for thinking of it.

Louise thought this hop would be a great way to to celebrate our achievement for earning the Stampin' Up! Grand Vacation to Hawaii in May this year. I feel so privileged to be part of a blog hop with some of the Top Demonstrators from all over the world! The theme we chose for our hop is Hawaiian which is lots of colour, sun and fun.

We are all heading off to the Sheraton Waikiki on the 12th - 17th May 2015. I will have lots of photos to share of the fun time we are having so be sure to follow my blog and see what we get up to.

Here is the gorgeous travel pack that Stampin' Up! designed and organised for us -

Isn't this incredible??

Here is my Hawaiian Themed card that I made for this blog hop -

I hand cut the colourful strips and layered it on whisper white - left a little bit of a gap in between.

The top layer is Vellum that I have scored.

Wondering how I made the Aloha? A talented team member Petra came up with that stroke of genius. She suggested cutting up the Hello and the Thanks and look what you get! It has totally made this card.

The flower was made using the Bouquet Bigz L Die and I broke the fibres in the flower and tore it half for a more textured look. The leaves I cut with paper snips.

My Supplies list is below for more details.

Next stop is the incredibly talented Janet Wakeland. I can't believe I am in a blog hop with all these incredibly talented international Stampin' Up! stars! WOW.

    1. yes I love the Aloha idea! My very clever downline Petra Tailor came up with that one and I am so appreciative. I will have to start playing with the thinlits to come up with some new words. lol I am sure there is an app out there for scrabble that could tell us what words those letters make. lol
