Hello Schoolhouse Designer Series Paper

I have played along with my first Pals Paper Arts Sketch challenge today. It was heaps of fun and I really enjoyed the sketch. Here it is -

And here is my interpretation of the sketch -

I used the new Schoolhouse Designer Series Paper which was so bright and happy!

The Hello is from the Hello You Thinlits dies and is a funky addition to a super fun bright card.

Here are the colours used in the paper and in my card. I would have to say its the first time I have used Daffodil Delight as a base of my card - and I am liking it! Nice to break out of the usual mold and make a change. Feel free to pin to your colour inspiration boards.

Tips and Techniques:

I used the triple banner punch for the banners and if you don't have that punch yet - you NEED to get it! Go to my shop right now and buy it. I love this tool and banners are so hot right now.

The Hello You Thinlits I used multipurpose glue to adhere that to the card - just small little drops of glue on the back of the letters. It does take time - but the results are so good.

I have used three different colour combinations for the banners - all from the Schoolhouse Designer series paper - but only the Tangerine Tango did I put a layer behind to make it really stand out. I love that pattern so much.

Thanks to the Pals Paper Arts for their great sketch this week - I look forward to playing along again in the future.
