Crazy About You - The Paper Players Colour Challenge

The Paper Players have a colour challenge running this week that I wanted to take part in. I knew that I wanted to make a thinking of you card - a friend is not feeling well and I wanted to let them know that I was thinking of them. I feel like these days I need a stock pile of get well soon or thinking of you cards - there are so many things that come up with friends and family. I think that this is a card that I could replicate quite easily even with different colour combinations too. Even different sentiments.

Here is The Paper Players Challenge Colours -

And here is my card -

There are lots of layers in this card - but layers are not to be feared! The add that touch of elegance and make a card really special with not much extra work at all. I love the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set the little splatters in Mint Macaron on the Mint Macaron card stock is such a subtle edition.

I used my Triple Banner punch for the sentiment but made it smaller than the smallest size on the punch and eyeballed it to get it right. The cute sentiment is from the new All Boxed Up set that can be used for more than the Gift Box Kit. The flower is from the Crazy About You stamp set. I made on in Mint Macaron and then punched it out using the co-ordinating punch - don't you love having punches that match? And then I did another one in Sahara Sand and cut it out and layered it. I layered it slightly off centre so that it created a different layering effect.

Here are the fantastic colours that Jaydee came up with to inspire us in the challenge. Make sure you head over to see their inspiration plus many others using this fantastic colour combination.
