Dotty Angles Baby Wipe Technique

I knew that I wanted to play along with Mojo Monday this week - but I also was given a challenge after my Dotty Angles Ombré card this week. A demonstrator here in Australia Debbie Blake said that my card would look good done in the Baby Wipe technique and I thought I must give that a try. After all I am all about challenging myself lately right?

I can see myself doing a video tutorial about this technique in the future - It is heaps of fun. I went for some really random colours as its good to try new things. Thank you so much for the challenge Debbie. I had a great time trying it out.

Here is the sketch from Mojo Monday -

And here is my card -

I love the look of the baby wipe technique - it is just a matter of squeezing some of your re-inkers on a baby wipe to make your own stamp pad - and then off you go! It isn't as crisp as a stamp pad - but the effect is lovely.

I thought that the Arrows Embossing folder was a nice compliment to the triangles. I could have used the tiny triangles too - might try that next time - but thought it might be a bit too much. I like having the contrast. I'm not a matchy matchy kind of gal. I love the flower from the itty bitty punch pack in the same background (I had a bit left over) I think it ties it all in.

Now what do we have to say about these colours?? RANDOM right? I think so - never did I think I would be making a card with these colours. But I find it fresh and bright and cheerful.
