Happy Patterns Decorative Mask - Freshly Made Sketches

Freshly Made Sketches have reached 200 Sketches! Wow congrats to the Design team for reaching such a milestone. Here is the sketch for the 200th Challenge -

I turned the sketch upside down and this is what I came up with -

I have been wanting to try this technique for some time now - using Whisper White ink and the Decorative mask to create this pop of colour on Crumb Cake Cardstock.

The added vellum allows the sentiment but not taking away from that gorgeous pattern in the background.

The whisper white ink I applied on the card directly. I used sponge daubers to get the colour onto the card. I love how the mix of the Melon Mambo and the Tempting Turquoise created that gorgeous purple.

This card was super simple and easy to make, yet creates a wonderful effect. I really hope that you try it out yourself.

  2. This came out so nice. I just did this technique with a different white ink on kraft card stock last week. It was so fun and I was pleasantly surprised with how nice it came out. I really like the different colors you used on this. That background is fantastic!
