Vintage Leaves with a Freshly Made Sketch

That's right! I am playing along with Freshly Made Sketches today. The moment I saw Cindy's Sketch I knew I just had to play along - and I knew what stamp set too as I received some new goodies yesterday. I can't believe you could have thought we wouldn't like this sketch Cindy - Its AWESOME! Thank you for providing it.

I have some MASSIVE news to share - but I will let you know after I show you my card. Keep you in suspense...

Here is the Sketch -

Here is my Vintage Leaves Card -

These leaves were calling out to me to colour them in Tip Top Taupe, Cajun Craze and Always Artichoke and I am so happy with the results. It is saying Autumn to me.

The Greetings Thinlits dies are so fantastic to add a quick sentiment to your card - I have have layered the Very Vanilla with some of the Always Artichoke beneath to add some depth and definition.

The Woodgrain Embossing folder was a perfect layer beneath the leaves - after all wood and leaves just are made to go together right? As much as I wanted to sponge those edges - I did what I was told and kept this card SUPER clean and crisp. Can't be having any of that grubby sponging on there right?

Here are the colours together - I am a fan of them, how about you? Do they inspire you? If so go ahead and pin it so you can use it now or later. The big news is coming I promise!! Keep reading....

Thanks again Cindy for an AWESOME sketch! I loved playing along with it. Make sure you head over to Freshly Made Sketches and see what others have done with this sketch.
