It's time to play along with the Global Design Project's weekly Challenge. Firstly I want to say how incredible it was to see 74 of you play along with our FIRST challenge last week! I am so amazed and excited that we had such a great start. We would love that number to keep growing so please play along with us this week. This is our sketch challenge that we have as inspiration -
Here is the project that I came up with this week -
I realised that I haven't got to play with this Tap Tap Tap stamp set so it was great to set myself another challenge and use a stamp set that hasn't been inked as yet.
I enjoyed using the new Holiday Catalogue Curvy Corner Trio Punch on the edges found on page 18 of the catalogue. I feel it gives the card an Art Deco look - which is perfect with the typewriter. And the Writing Notes Background stamp gives the look that it was just meant to be.
I also don't remember ever using this colour combination but I think it fits with the whole look of the card. Too much grey and black and it would have become dull and boring. The Rose Red is that POP of colour without going too bright.
So please head over to the Global Design Project and be inspired and we would love you to play along with us.
