Global Design Project & Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge

I am mixing it up today and doing two challenges! I do love combining a sketch and colour challenge as it takes lots of the thinking away and helps me to think about the design of the card.

Here is the Global Design Project Colour Challenge this week -

And here is my card -

I kind of took the sketch somewhere different and the bottom layer I made just my sentiment. I wanted to try some masking today with a stamp set you may be familiar with - Yes you got it - Perpetual Birthday Calendar stamp set! You can see my other cards that I have made with this stamp set in the last week or so here.

This is the inside of the card - I kept it simple but layered it so that it would flow nicely with the front of the card. Are you like me and feel like it is undressed if there is nothing on the inside? Its not hard to jazz up a card by doing inside as well.

Here are the colours that we are using over at the Global Design Project - I love them! And they are perfect for this Baby Boys card.

The adorable came from the Made with Love stamp set - it really is adorable!

I would love to update you when I create a post! Would you like to receive an email from me when I do? You can subscribe for my updates here.

  1. Another horrible creation. If I've told you once, I've told you a thousand times....cardmaking just isn't your thing. You should really find another hobby so you stop making me look so bad!!!!
    Hahahahaha

Ok....I'll admit it....it's super-duper adorable. Love this handsome little card with the brilliant masking and the cute baby tie is a perfect finish. Thanks so much for joining us over at the Global Design Project this week and for not yet returning my phone call. Lucky I love you! xo
