Pinterest Inspired Challenge | Definitely Dahlia

The Pinterest Inspired Challenge blog is only new and once a month - and I love it. I enjoy that you can be inspired by the pattern or the colours. Here is Octobers inspiration picture -

I am not a blue girl at all however, I am very happy with how my card turned out. In fact - I think I like it!

I saw a sketch and card that Teneale Williams made that inspired me to have the strip of colour added it. But instead of having it from the background I added in a strip of the Night of Navy. I really love the effect that it has made. I wanted it to be a surprise layer - like you look at it and say - hang on? How did that get there?

I used the sponge daubers to add the colours to the Definitely Dahlia. Isn't it stunning? The colours are meant to be together. I used the One Big Meaning Stamp set for the sentiment and some of that gorgeous Silver Cording.

Here are the colours that I used if you wanted to save them for later. I just think they are such a STUNNING combo. So thank you to the Pinterest Inspired Challenge this month because I may not have found this combo on my own.

I would love to update you when I create a post! Would you like to receive an email from me when I do? You can subscribe for my updates here.
