Global Design Project #014 | Love you Sew

We have another exciting week at the Global Design Project this week and its one of my favourite challenges - a sketch! I really hope that you can play along with us this week - however if you can't please come and see all the amazing work that our Design Team has done plus what will be added during the week using this sketch. I am sure you will be inspired.

Here is my card using the sketch.

I adore cross stitch and when I saw the I love you Sew Hostess stamp set I know that I wanted to incorporate my love of stitching on a card. I stamped the little cross stitch heart in real red three times and then created little tiny holes using a needle and then stitched it with the white bakers twine. The threads come apart easily and so I just used one strand.

The I love you sentiment is from the BRAND new Project Life Memories in the Making stamp set. Isn't it adorable! I used the Washi Tape Technique to get the different colours on the polymer.

So make sure you head over to the Global Design Project this week.

    1. Thanks Cheryll! I am glad you say that - I wanted the cross stitch to be the highlight - it was challenging with it being a small but detailed space. Thanks for coming by and commenting.
