Global Design Project 015 Celebrate | Balloon Celebration

It's time to Celebrate over at the Global Design Project! The Global Design Project is so such a successful design team and we owe that to all our readers and the fantastic design team. Make sure you go and visit as you will get lots of inspiration.

This post I decided included some Tips on how to use, not hoard your Designer Series Paper - scroll down to see more.

Here is the theme this month - Celebrate!

Here is my card

I used the brand new stamp set called Balloon Celebration that will be released in Australia on the 5th January. The clouds, the sentiment and the balloons all came from that same set. The Designer Series Paper came from the Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper.

I love the Pink Pirouette, Mint Macaron and Smoky Slate all together like this. I think this would be a great card to celebrate a friend that you have found out is pregnant but you aren't sure of the gender of the child yet. Or there are many other occasions that could work with this card so it is very versatile. I am not sure if you noticed but my card today I took the idea from my recent card and just slightly change the layout.

It is a great way to make a few different cards fast - stick to the same colour and layout but change up the stamp set that you use. It keeps it original, yet helps you finish a card fast.

Thank you for joining me today - make sure that you go and have a look at the other designers work in the Global Design Project Challenge blog. They are so amazing. Click Here.

I have found in the past that I have hoarded my Designer Series Paper instead of using it - are you in the same position? Here are some tips that helped me to overcome my issue of keeping instead of using the gorgeous Stampin' Up!® Designer Series Paper.

  7. Kylie, I really love your card. It remember´s me to my childhood (? when I was a little child).. My dad bought me eacht time, we visited a funfair, a helium balloon. When we came home, it was traditional to let him free.. We watched him, till the ballon was at the sky to all the angles and my grandmum. So we send her love.
    Hugs Tanja
