Ok - I just couldn't help myself - I decided to CASE my card that I made for the Global Design Project challenge blog this week and show you how by mixing up the colours and adding a few different embellishments the difference it can make to a card.
I am not much of a girly card maker - My signature is bold and geometric and I do love those types of cards. Every now and then it is nice to get back to my feminine side... :)
I stamped the watercolor wash background stamp in mint macaron and then stamped off so that it gave a nice light background image. I then added the flowers from the choose happiness stamp set.
It gave me the feeling of vintage and I knew the pearls would look so wonderful on the card - so I added the pearls from the stunning Love Blossoms Embellishment Kit. What a gorgeous kit that is. I then added some of the smaller pearls from the Pearl embellishments.
the sentiment was white embossed on Mint Macaron - I found it a little light so I punched it out with the label bracket punch and then pushed the whole thing into the mint macaron ink. It gave it the depth of colour that I wanted and made that sentiment really pop.
Thank you for coming by - I hope I inspired you with my project today. Make sure you head over the the Global Design Project challenge blog as there are some amazing projects there already! I love hearing from you!
