Global Design Project 034 | Sketch Challenge

Welcome to this weeks Global Design Project Challenge #034. This week we are playing along with one of Teneale Williams Sketch challenges. I always love to play along with a sketch but I never take them too literally.
I actually made a very similar card only to find out that it had sold out from the retired list! The Another Thank you stamp set. So if you haven't got your favourites make sure you go and purchase them before they go forever. Remember the host code this month is 23CWEF4N.

Here is my card based on the sketch -

I firstly embossed the sentiment using the Watercolor Words stamp set. That is such a fun and versatile set. Great for project life as well as they are nice and large sentiments. I then stamped over the top with the Brushstrokes background stamp set with versa mark.
I used the rhinestone basic jewels (and then sang rhinestone cowboy all afternoon.....) But I felt it needed a bit more. So I used the petite petals sponged them and added the retiring Iced Rhinestone Embellishments. (then sang Ice ice baby for the rest of the afternoon)

I love the addition of the flowers and sponging them is just what I wanted to add the texture without taking away from that gorgeous sentiment.

Today I did my my Project Life® by Stampin' Up!® Live Event. My second one is happening right now 7pm AEST. If you missed them all is fine... Jump into our international Project Life® by Stampin' Up!® Group by clicking here. Then click on the events tab and my videos are there for you to watch later.

Make sure you also take time to have a look at the Global Design Project Challenge Blog to see the incredible projects that the Design Team came up with this week using the sketch. There is going to be so much inspiration for you to have a look at during the week!
