Crazy Crafters Blog Hop with special guest Paula Dobson

Thank you for joining us for another amazing Crazy Crafters blog hop! This time we are joined with the amazing Paula Dobson from New Zealand. Paula is a seriously talented stamper and is a Design team member on the Global Design Project. We all love her projects and were thrilled when she agreed to not only hop with us but to let us CASE - Copy and Selectively Edit her cards.

Everyone in the Crazy Crafters team went through Paula's blog and we all picked different cards that inspired us. Here is the card I chose of Paula's to be inspired by -

Here is my card -

I loved Paula's technique of the sponging on embossing - so I used that same technique on my card and her layout too. I have been wanting to try out these gorgeous flower wreaths in the Ready to Pop stamp set for a while now so I am really happy I finally got to have a play with it! I have lots of other ideas for it too. I just think it is the cutest wreath of flowers.

I adore Mint Macaron and Tip Top Taupe together and the added Linen thread was exactly what this card needed as it was quite monochrome without it being the one colour sponged.

The sentiment is from the One Big Meaning stamp set - I stamped this in Tip Top Taupe to go with the small backing of the same colour on the card. Both the embossed resist pattern and the card front are both stuck down with dimensionals.

I am thrilled with my card today - so thank you so much for the inspiration Paula - my card wouldn't exist with out your inspiration! I love how we can be inspired by others and come up with something so different too! Same same but different.

Don't miss one of the Crazy Crafters Blogs today - Remember you are currently on my blog - Kylie Bertucci so have a look who is after me in the blog hop list. Enjoy the hop and big thanks to Paula and the Crazy Crafters for making this such a great success. If you live in Australia - any of my team are happy to help you with Stampin' Up!® products.
