Global Design Project 056 | CASE the Designer

This week over at the Global Design Project 056 we are casing the wonderful Bibi Cameron. I adore Bibi's style and quirky designs. She is so talented and it is wonderful to be on the same design team as her. Here is the card that we are being inspired by this week -

Here is my interpretation -

I was inspired by the swing in Bibi's card and the way that her card front is off centre. You can see that I have used the Swing to make the thread on which the flowers are hanging from. That stamp set is the Sitting Here stamp set. You may notice a pattern down the right hand side of the card - this is the pillow from the Sitting Here stamp set.

I used the Timeless love stamp set to make the flowers and added a few more that I raised on dimensionals. I used watercolouring with night of navy to create this elegant look. The night of Navy, Whisper White and Smoky Slate are a wonderful combination of colours.

The Welcome sentiment which I ADORE is from the Places You'll Go stamp set. Isn't it beautiful? I had six team members join my team last month and want to send them some cards to welcome them... I think they will like receiving this.

Aren't the insides of cards fun? I love doing a little touch of decoration. Make sure you head over to the Global Design Project to see all the other amazing designers work and also take part if you can. Tomorrow I will be highlighting more about this card in a LIVE VIDEO on my Facebook page. So make sure you come and check it out. Click Here to register for the event.

  1. Such a pretty card and clever Use of the Sitting Here stamp set. I didn't at first realise you had your garland hanging from the swing ropes!
