Global Design Project 071 | Theme Challenge

I love that the Global Design Project Challenges really push me out of my comfort zone. It has been a long time since I have done a 3D project and I LOVED it! I had a play with the new Window Box Thinlits Die and it is GORGEOUS and much bigger than I expected. Here is the theme this week I hope that you can have a look or play along.

I thought that this would be the perfect way to gift some gorgeous little socks as a Baby Shower gift. Isn't this just the most adorable way to wrap a gift? Even though you may have just a small gift the presentation would touch any expecting mothers heart.

The adorable Foxy Friends just sang out to me and looks so wonderful in the blushing bride and mint macaron. I raised the fox up for that wonderful dimension.

You may notice that the squares are from our amazing Stitched Shapes Framelits - the hottest thinlits set on the block right now! They sold out here in Australia. So if you don't have them - you NEED to get them. They helped me decorate the sides of this Window Box perfectly. The top I cut by tracing the inside of the framelits on some Whisper White cardstock with pencil and then cut it by hand. That way I knew it would be the perfect size.

If you love my Baby girl project today please pin the pictures to pinterest and I would love to hear from you in the comments below. Make sure you head over to the Global Design Project for more ideas and inspiration on 3D and off the page projects.

  3. Your box is absolutely adorable. I had not ordered the thinlets set because, frankly it is too expensive for me. But, I do adore your version of the box and am now considering my decision. Thank you for sharing your project.

  4. Great design and colors for hexagon box? I can see two sides and the top. Are two designs repetitive around the side? Superb!
