Sending Lots of Love using the You're Priceless Stamp Set

Hi Everyone and thanks for stopping by today.

The colour palette used on todays card was inspired by the Eastern Palace. But, thats where the eastern palace influence ends. Hahahahaha!!!!

I wanted to use the You're Priceless set. I admit that I was initially attracted to the Diamond stamp. This set is designed with a number of two-step stamp images. But, I decided to use the 'background' image alone and create a background pattern using those colours. Having said that, here is the card I made today;

I really like these colours together - they have a very strong masculine feel to them. And, then, the Twist gives it a whimsical edge to it (well, thats what Im telling myself). This type of (repetitive) stamping is what Bruno usually does. I must admit that I usually wouldn't attempt anything like this. But, using Photopolymer stamps makes it ALOT easier! You can see exactly how much ink is on the stamp and it is very easy to line up too.

I was going to use one of the sentiments from the same set but I wanted something a bit bigger. So, I used the super-sized sentiment from the Lots of Love set. I simply inked it up and stamped over the background stamping. And, I love how it turned out.

I then mounted it on a Tranquil Tide layer and mounted it on a Fresh Fig card base. Can you think of some other colour combinations you could try this on? Have you tried repetitive stamping like this before? This is a GREAT set to try it on. Click on the link below and buy them from my store right away.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.
