Enjoy (your) Bike Ride

Greetings from Manila ..... We are having an INCREDIBLE time here - coming up to two months already - can you believe it?? Time is going so fast and we are seeing and doing so many amazing things. We had some visitors from Australia that had a stop over in the Philippines on Friday night and we were so excited to see them. They also brought us some emergency supplies! VEGEMITE! We had run out and this amazing black spread has become our lifeline and memory of home. We barely eat it at home. Funny how you get emotionally attached to certain things.

Anyway I have something to share with you today! I'm using my favourite SU colour - and, you all know what that colour is? BERMUDA BAY! And, Im using the Bike Ride stamp set with coordinating Build a Bike Framelit dies. GOOD NEWS - it is available as a bundle and you can save $$$$$$!
Here is the completed project;

For the background, I started with a piece of Sahara Sand and stamped some clouds from the Baloon Celebration set using Versamark, stamped off. I didn't want the clouds to dominate at all. To give the appearance of a road, I used Bermuda Bay mini-chevron ribbon.

I then stamped each of the bike elements and cut them out using the coordinating die. There are opportunities for two-step stamping which I took advantage of to get some more of Bermuda Bay into to the bike. To assemble, I used the new mini-dimensionals (which are perfectly sized for this).

Do you like the sentiment? Its from the Ready to Pop stamp set and I stamped it using, you guessed it, Bermuda Bay. I cut it out using one of the framelits from the Popcorn Box Thinlits Dies.

I mounted all of this onto a piece of Bermuda Bay, then a thin layer of Whisper White and then onto a Bermuda Bay card stock.

Have you tried the Bike Ride and Build a Bike Fraemlits? I love them and you will too! I would love to hear from you. Either leave a comment below or click HERE to leave me an email message. xx
