I really wanted to use the Granny Apple Green Ribbon and then went for it with the NEW Blended Seasons Bundle. Love this new bundle. Please note that the pencils don't come in the bundle - they are sold separately however they go perfectly with this bundle. Here is the card that I created -

This was definitely a 'make-it-up-as-you-go' card. lol

When I showed Kylie she was making fun of me saying 'Since when are flowers Green?'

I just wanted to use the Granny Apple Green Blends and didn't really think about it! Oh, well!

But, true story - I googled 'Green Flowers' and found this;

It is a Green Flutter Day Lily. Yes, thats what I was thinking of when I was colouring! Ha!

I started with a Granny Apple Green card base with a layer of Granny Apple Green over. I wrapped the ribbon around the layer. There was a piece of the Delightfully Detailed Laser Cut paper on the table when I was creating, so I decided to add this to the ribbon and it gave a stitching effect. 

I stamped the flower image from the Blended Seasons stamp set onto a piece of Very Vanilla and coloured using Granny Apply Green, Soft Sea Foam and Flirty Flamingo and cut out. I was going to stick this direct to the card base, but decided it could do with an intermediate layer. I used one of the framelits in the Stitched Seasons kit. I love these as they are stitched on both the positive and negative (does that make sense?)

For the sentiment, I stamped using Granny Apple Green onto Very Vanilla, cut out and mounted using dimensionals.
