Today I am hoping along with the winners of my highlights from early this month in August. Our theme this month is teachers Gifts. You may be starting here or have come from the person before me in the hop - that is fine! You can still hop all the way around and not miss one. The list is at the end of this post.

My Project

I love doing teachers cards - they make me think of school and all the teachers that I was inspired by that I would have loved to let them know what they have done for me. Maybe that can be my mission - to look up some of my old teachers and let them know what an impact they made in my education.

Today I wanted to have a play with some of the current Annual Catalogue products - the absolutely gorgeous and MUST have framelits - Large Letters. I also have used a fantastic stamp set called All Things Thanks.

I used the awesome Basic Grey and Pineapple Punch and the letters just didn't seem to POP out like I wanted. Problem solved - I cut them out in Basic Black as well and adhered it to the back of the letters. I was very happy with the result.

I used Garden Green and embossed the sentiment in Whisper White. There are some fantastic sentiments in that All Things Thanks Stamp set. I had so much fun making this fun, simple yet bold card today.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Please make sure to check out all of the people in the blog hop below.
