Back to todays project;

When I first saw this Designer Series Paper, I immediately thought that it reminded me of some wallpaper or weatherboards.

Here is the card I ended up with;

We haven't used this stamp set and framelits much at all. But, every time I am looking through the stamp sets for inspiration, this is one of the first sets I see (given that it starts with the letter 'A').

So, since this paper reminded me of wallpaper, I cut to size (10cm high x 10.5cm wide) and made it into wallpaper. I picked a sheet from the Wood Textures dsp and cut (5cmx10.5cm). I stuck these down onto a Grapefruit Grove card base and I had the floor and walls taken care of. I wanted to create some skirting boards (also known as baseboards) so I added a strip of Vellum over the Wood DSP.

I white embossed the door image onto Pineapple Punch and Grapefruit Grove and cut out using the coordinating framelit. I wanted the door to be Pineapple Punch, so I trimmed the door off the Grapefruit Grove version and stuck down (using dimensionals) over the top. I then stuck this down to the card base (also using dimensionals).

I white embossed the sentiment onto a piece of Grey Granite and then stamped the plant in Grey Granite on Whisper White. I then cut these out using the coordinating framelit and stuck down using dimensionals.

And THAT is it! It was super simple and super effective!

Here are the products that I used;
