Here is the Sneak Peek of my Tutorial this month -

On the above project, I used the BEAUTIFUL Detailed Leaves Thinlits Dies. Oh dear - these are ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! The project I made for the tutorial bundle is simple and beautiful!For todays project, I wanted to use the same technique but this time using different colours and a different framelit kit. Here is my project;

I have used the absolutely stunning Delicate Lace Edgelits. Wow! These are so beautiful! These are Detailed Dies (ie. use the precision base plate, thin die adapter and Big Shot Platform). These edgelits are so intricate and beautiful! I was making the card for the tutorial bundle and I created a beautiful pattern just by colour blocking using framelits and card stock. You know that you want to see it right?? Get the tutorial bundle today for this and 11 other amazing designs click HERE.

Here are the steps you can take to make this card;
  1. Start with a Crushed Curry card portrait card base.
  2. Add a black layer with a 2mm border all around, stick down to card base..
  3. Add a white layer with a 1mm border all around, stick down.
  4. Using strips of Basic Black and Crushed Curry (approx. 9.8cm x 3cm, 5 x Basic Black, 2 x Crushed Curry), add adhesive sheets to rear of card stock.
  5. Using the Delicate Lace Edgelit Die, cut the lace pattern out. Make sure the the strips are the same width as the white layer.
  6. Peel the Adhesive Backing sheet and fix to card.
  7. Using a piece of Crushed Curry, stamp the sentiment in Basic Black. I used a sentiment from the Hanging Garden stamp set.
  8. Cut out using the Stitched Shape Oval Framelit. Stick down using dimensionals.
  9. Decorate inside as desired.

Thanks so much for stopping by to see my project today.
